Case study
Nov 2020 – Dec 2022Digital Marketing Executive → promoted to Manager
WOW Construction & Interiors Pvt. Ltd.
Built the company’s digital presence from nothing, then ran paid and search so a ~₹3 lakh monthly ad budget was closing close to ₹1 crore a month — and held #1 on Gurgaon & Delhi construction keywords for about 5 months.
The brief
There was no existing digital stack to inherit. Brand, site, ads, and measurement all had to be set up so the business could generate and follow up on interior and construction inquiries.
Paid had to justify itself in rupees: roughly ₹3 lakh a month on Meta and Google needed to turn into closed work, not just clicks. Search had to own Gurgaon and Delhi construction queries, not rent them for a week.
How I approached it
- Lock the brand first so site, print, and ads share one face.
- Put the ~₹3 lakh monthly budget into Meta and Google with tracking on, so spend could be judged against what actually closed — which sat close to ₹1 crore a month.
- Build organic presence on construction keywords for Gurgaon and Delhi, then defend first position instead of buying it once and walking away.
- Install Tag Manager and Analytics, then automate WhatsApp and SMS so leads did not sit cold.
What I actually did
Digital presence from ground zero
Set up the company’s public digital presence: brand surfaces, the website, and paid ads. This was a build, not an optimisation of someone else’s account.
Brand system
Led branding end to end — logo, print media, and brand guidelines — so sales collaterals, site, and ads did not drift apart every time a new project launched.
Paid media: Meta + Google
Ran the monthly marketing budget of about ₹3 lakh across Meta and Google. While this was managed, paid marketing was closing close to ₹1 crore every month — spend judged on closed work, not vanity clicks.
Search: Gurgaon & Delhi construction
Held first position for around 5 months on construction-related keywords targeting Gurgaon and Delhi. The work was to get there and stay there — titles, pages, and ongoing search, not a one-off ranking spike.
Tag Manager and Analytics
Configured Google Tag Manager and Analytics so we could see which campaigns and pages produced inquiries, instead of reporting on clicks alone. That is what made the ₹3 lakh vs ₹1 crore picture visible.
WhatsApp and SMS follow-up
Put WhatsApp automation and SMS marketing in place so inbound leads got a follow-up path, and past inquiries could be brought back without a manual chase every time.
